This work is derived from a pool match with my father. On paper, I recorded every angle and path the cue ball traveled during one entire game. I used this information to construct the image.
After scanning the notes from the game into Adobe Photoshop, I broke down the information into ten separate parts, each including ten different approximate paths made by the cue ball. I then printed the ten new images and drew a line through each pathway the cue ball traveled. The outcome was ten sheets of paper with ten lines at different angles drawn on each. I scanned these back in, enlarged them, and printed them at the same size I wanted the final image to be. These new prints were used as templates the darkroom for concise burning. I was only allowed to see the image after all burning was finished and the paper was developed. This process took between six to eight hours for each print.
